September 19 – 16th Annual Kids In Community Service Project at Coastal Clean-up Day
Malcom Elementary will participate in the California Coastal Cleanup Day is the premier volunteer event focused on the marine environment in the country. We will be volunteering at Salt Creek Beach from 9am – 12pm.
September 25 – Ice Cream Social
We’re warming up the jukebox. Grab your dancing shoes and socks. Come on over because we’re gonna rock around the clock. Students are encouraged to get into the spirit early by wearing their 50’s clothes to school on Friday. Ice cream sundaes for sale $2 each while the DJ spins your favorite 50’s songs. Event goes from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Malcom Elementary.
October 1 – Back to School Night for Parents of Malcom Students
Parents will be attending Back to School Night at Malcom to meet teachers, sit in their student’s desk and learn about the teacher’s curriculum and expectations for the children and parents. Children need not attend as this if primarily to communicate with the parents.
October 7 – Walk to School Day
Malcom Elementary will participate in the International walk to school day. Children are encouraged to walk or bike to school on this day with family and friends while using a safe route.
