Brent Huff (Film Director) sat in to sub for Jeff last evening. The classes were huge and everyone was having a blast…and he and I got together to talk ACTORS FORUM.
He’s currently producing a film called “Love is a Battlefield” and called his partner Dan McDermott. Dan was so excited about coming……he’s the former President of Dreamworks Television.
Brent also placed a call to Carol Curb (brother Mike is a huge music producer and former Lt. Gov of California) Carol is big in film distribution and is currently pitching hard a concept film that Brent and I collaborated on — Middletown Misfits which will be cast out of this school. Brent’s film Cat City – which stars Brian Dennehy..looks like it will become a series and shot in Palm Springs….when they filmed the movie, many of our adult actors were in that film. Anyway, Carol Curb wants to come to ACTORS FORUM. (long winded thought process!)
We have many more confirmations from casting directors – Terry Berland, Harriet Greenspan, Danielle Eskanazi, On Your Mark Studio, Lindsey Koeger, Renita Casting, Ivy Eisenberg, Ricki Masler, Bonnie Gillespie,……Agents, Osbrink, CESD, KSR, Amstel, Eisenstadt & Frazier, Buchwald, Savage, Coast to Coast…..
SO WHO WILL BE COMPETING FOR TALENT? We are not done with the bookings……Parents get educated, the talent gets seen….BOOK YOU PLACE TODAY!

Imagine how hard the decision will be on which agent to go with (that’s a really good problem to have!)
Training for Actors Forum is flexible: Monday @ 5:00 starting September 28, Thursday @ 5:00, Saturday @ 11:00 so there a day that will fit everyone’s schedule

Jeff’s Sunday Master Class is postponed one week. If you want to take this workshop, you need to sign up at the front desk and email back that you want to take it. You must be an enrolled student here, your program must be active and you cannot substitute a class at TPA for his Sunday class. It’s Phase II, if you haven’t taken Phase I, you must ask him if he will allow you to join in. Emotional preparation……amazing class.

JEFF’S SATURDAY MASTER CLASS:
To all the students who attend the 3:00 Master Class…listen up. I have never seen him so aggravated as I did last week. Jeff has an easy going personality and in six years I have never seen him lose his cool….he did last Saturday.
If you are going to be late for that class….stay home. If you don’t plan on coming regularly, drop the class, if you take a scene and have a partner, show up or drop the class. If you take a scene know your material.
This isn’t a children’s acting class, he’s not a babysitter. He’s a film director that drives from West Hollywood to come here and teach…and he loves teaching….he just doesn’t like the disrespect. He also cannot understand how some got agents and then drop class with excuses like, they are so busy….we both feel that if you are too busy to attend class, then you should be too busy to audition.
His rules – miss twice you are out.
It’s a privilege to be working with a film director, it’s a privilege to be asked into that class. In LA they would kick the talent out and keep their money. He directed Tom Berenger, Armand Assante, Busta Rhymes, Faye Dunaway, Michael York, Chris Penn, Diane Lane, William Peterson, Steven Brand……and more…so Saturday 3:00 Master’s Class Student – there it is…..

OH, Send me your success stories….I just found out that Jared Lee booked a bunch of commercials – Walmart and a soup commercial….
Wil Kennedy booked 5 jobs….and a Walmart that’s airing now.
Chaney Leiberman booked, and Brandon Klopot is leaving for Michigan Saturday to shoot the film with Musetta.
