Dana Point, Calif. – Individuals, clubs, associations and others are still sought to volunteer during the Dana Point Turkey Trot presented by Golden State Foods.

The Dana Point Turkey Trot 5K and 10K run/walk is one of the largest events in the nation and is expected to attract more than 11,000 participants for a scenic coastal run along the Dana Point Harbor. The time-honored event benefits the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

Volunteers are sought to help with pre-registration on Nov. 25 and in an array of fun positions during the Nov. 26 Thanksgiving Day event.

Volunteers receive a race T-shirt and refreshments and are invited to attend the “Finish Line Festival.”

People can feel good about participating in a fun and worthwhile event.
