For the third year in a row, John S. Malcom students and Cub Scouts of Pack 760 have joined thousands of schools and community groups help save children’s lives by Trick or Treating for UNICEF.
Malcom students brought to school coins collected in little orange boxes to help less fortunate children all over the world survive in the face of disease, disasters, and other hardships.
This year the Cub Scouts counted $807.47 worth of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters to donate to UNICEF.On Friday, November 13 at the 7:45 a.m. flag ceremony at Malcom, the Cub Scouts announced the class totals and presented the ‘big check’ to the principal to show $807.47.
Malcom students are making a difference in the lives of their peers in need.
