Last Sunday, excited girls and their moms enjoyed a Purr-fect Sunday Funday, featuring the final book in the Fancy Nancy Series, Fancy Nancy: Oodles of Kittens. The Junior League of Orange County was so pleased that 70 children attended both shows.

The event happened at Aliso Viejo Country Club, Aliso Viejo, California. The girls enjoyed face painters, a photo booth, and kitten adoption.
All children attending received free copies of the book. A highlight was an in-person book reading by the Fancy Nancy book series illustrator, Robin Preiss Glasser.

All proceeds benefitted the League’s volunteer training programs and community projects in partnership with its community partners that include the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force, Orangewood Foundation, Samueli Academy, JLOCC’s own initiative, Junior League Juniors, which introduces children to volunteer and make an impact in the community, and along with other additional volunteer projects throughout Orange County.
