“Blue Horizons” – A New Dolphin Show
Renovations for the new dolphin show are progressing at SeaWorld as construction of a new set, sound booth and additional stadium seating continue. Several birds including black vultures, coral-billed parrots, and East African crowned cranes are progressing with their training, as a new element to the show will include free flying birds.
As SeaWorld prepares to debut “Blue Horizons,” a spectacular new dolphin show, guests can still enjoy performances by dolphins and pilot whales during “The Dolphin Experience” which takes place daily at Shamu stadium in between Shamu shows. “Blue Horizons,” which will feature an entirely new set; trusses, diving boards and bungee swings for aerialists and divers; a new sound system; high-tech water features; and an additional 700 seats for guests, is scheduled to open in late spring.
