Pacific Symphony Musicians Serenade the Animals

Date:

Sat., Aug. 4 • 1-2 p.m.

Centennnial Farm

OC Fair & Event Center, Costa Mesa

Visit the animals at the Centennial Farm at the OC Fair & Event Center this Saturday and enjoy a “pop-up” concert by Pacific Symphony brass musicians!

Principal French Horn Keith Popejoy will lead a group of brass players in music from “Carnival of the Animals” as well as themes from popular films such as “Frozen” and “Star Wars” — in anticipation of Pacific Symphony’s live performance of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: In Concert on Aug. 18 at Pacific Amphitheatre.

Plus, enjoy a Musical Petting Zoo where kids can meet the musicians and get to know the instruments of the brass family, such as the French horn, trumpet, trombone, and tuba.

Admission
to the OC Fair is half-price if you arrive between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday. Plus, the rides only cost half the number of tickets before 1 p.m.

So come to the OC Fair on Saturday and experience family fun time together.
