Korean War Veterans Eligible for Special Medal from South Korea

Veterans who served in Korea between June 25, 1950, to July 27, 1953, or participated in United Nations peacekeeping operations through the end of 1955 are eligible for a medal from the Republic of Korea. The metal may be awarded posthumously.

Applications are available in Congressman Rohrabacher’s office in Huntington Beach.

Please call (714) 960-6483 or email CA48.Mailbox@mail.house.gov for an application form. Next of kin, such as a spouse or descendant, may apply on behalf of a deceased veteran. A copy of the veteran’s DD-214 must be included with the completed application.
