SEGERSTROM CENTER FOR THE ARTS PRESENTS ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAMER PETER CETERA IN SPECIAL VALENTINE’S DAY CONCERT

Date:

Segerstrom Center for the Arts welcomes Grammy® Award-winning singer-songwriter
Peter Cetera for a special Valentine’s Day concert on February 14, 2019, at 8 p.m. in the Renée and Henry
Segerstrom Concert Hall.

Cetera will perform his most beloved romantic and power ballads. With distinct
careers as both a co-founder of the legendary rock band Chicago and more than two decades as an
internationally acclaimed solo artist, Cetera’s incomparable legacy of songs continues to touch the lives of
audiences around the world.

His trademark tenor has helped create some of the most iconic hits of a
generation, including the timeless love ballad “If You Leave Me” and the Academy Award®-nominated “Glory
of Love.”

Peter Cetera has had two distinct musical careers. From 1968 thru 1986 Cetera was the singer, songwriter and bass player for the legendary rock group Chicago. In his time with the group, they recorded 18 of the most memorable albums of a generation, including such hits as “If You Leave Me Now,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” “Baby What a Big Surprise,” “You’re the Inspiration,” “Stay the Night,” “Love Me Tomorrow,” “Happy Man,” “Feeling Stronger Every Day” and “Along Comes a Woman.”

A solo artist since 1986, Cetera has recorded 10 time-honored CDs including his #1 hits, the Oscar®-
nominated song “The Glory of Love” from the movie The Karate Kid II, “The Next Time I Fall” with Amy Grant, “Feels Like Heaven” with Chaka Kahn, “After All” with Cher from the motion picture Chances Are, “No Explanation” from the mega-hit film Pretty Woman and the unforgettable “Restless Heart.”

He is currently touring with his seven-piece electric band, “The Bad Daddy’s,” and still enjoys performing his timeless songs
for audiences worldwide. Cetera also appears in other musical formats including his much-acclaimed
Symphony Show for the larger venues and a smaller String Quartet version for smaller intimate affairs.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts is an acclaimed arts institution as well as a beautiful multi-disciplinary
cultural campus. It is committed to supporting artistic excellence, offering unsurpassed experiences and to
engaging the entire community in new and exciting ways through the unique power of live performance and a
