A Ghoulishly Fun and Spooky Haunted House – Pageant Of The Monsters

Date:

Follow the footsteps of legendary archeologist, adventurer and treasure hunter “Cincinnati Smith” on a whimsical and haunted spoof of a popular movie series.

Cincinnati is on a perilous quest to recover the greatest treasures from exotic locales across the globe. He has set his sights on the holy grail, a golden idol, and the arc of the covenant!

His guests will trek through the creepy jungle empire of the Amazon to the desert tombs of the Pharaohs. Encounters with cannibals, mummies and yes, slithering reptiles are likely…”Oh NO, not SNAKES!”  Yessssssssssss! indeed there will be snakes.

Pageant of the Monsters

Just when you thought it was safe to go backstage the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters brings a monster of a good time back to Laguna Beach!

Only returning to the Festival grounds every five years, the Pageant of the Monsters will offer attendees a frightfully fun time with ghoulish tricks and treats October 26, 27, 28 and 31, 2018.

Resurrecting an event from years past, the Pageant’s backstage will transform into a haunted house with an artistic twist. Themed Raiders of the Lost Art, join “Cincinnati Smith” on a treasure “haunt” through the workshop labyrinths and behind-the-scenes catacombs. The Festival of Arts grounds will be filled with Halloween-themed art activities, music, and other “spook-tacular” surprises.

This event is not recommended for children under 5 years of age. Funds for this event are provided in part by the lodging establishments and the City of Laguna Beach.

 * Strobe lighting, smoke, and other theatrical atmospheric effects will be used during this event.
