Freedman and Steve Lutvaki, “Gentleman’s Guide” received ten 2014 Tony Award nominations, winning Best Musical, Best Direction of a Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Costume Design. The show also received The Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics’ Circle Award for Outstanding Musical, and garnered a 2015 Grammy Award nomination for Best Musical Show Album, making “Gentleman’s Guide” the most nominated and awarded new musical of the 2014 Broadway season.
