MIRACLES FOR KIDS PARTNERS WITH ANNUAL STARS AND STRIPES FESTIVAL Country’s
Largest Destination Fundraiser to Support Orange County-based Charity
– Tustin-based Miracles for Kids, a
non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with
life-threatening illnesses, has been named a charitable partner of the 14th
Annual Stars & Stripes Fishing, Golf and Music Festival, the nation’s
largest destination charity fundraiser.
Miracles for Kids joins Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County,
Orangewood Children’s Foundation, Mexico’s Green Scholarship Program and Boy
Scouts of America-Los Angeles Area Council as a key beneficiary of the
event, which has raised over $10 million for select children’s charities
since its inception 14 years ago.
“We are honored to be part of this year’s event, which has grown to be one
of the nation’s most significant and innovative charity fundraisers,” said
Autumn Strier, president of Miracles for Kids. “We are especially excited by
the opportunity it presents for us to raise significant funds – and
awareness – for critically ill children and their families.”
Expected to draw over 600 participants, this year’s event will be held June
24-27 at the Hilton Los Cabos Beach and Golf Resort. It will feature fishing
and golf tournaments, themed dinners and three nights of live performances –
including Michael Israel, Thursday, June 24; Super Diamond, Friday, June 25
and World Classic Rockers, Sat., June 26 – with all proceeds benefiting
important causes for children. An array of all-inclusive event packages is
available, including airfare, luxurious hotel accommodations, food and
beverages, world-class fishing and golf and premiere entertainment. For

About Miracles for Kids
Founded in 2002, Miracles for Kids’ mission is to improve the lives of
children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The organization
accomplishes this mission by providing families with ongoing financial and
other support necessary to survive financially during their child’s illness;
by funding research focused on eradicating life-threatening childhood
diseases and by serving as an advocate for children and families who are
fighting life-threatening diseases.
With offices in Tustin, Miracles for Kids operates the Miracles for Kids
Grant Program, Fund-a-Family Program and the Basket of Miracles. These
programs provide financial aid, food delivery and other critically needed
support programs for families throughout Southern California in treatment at
CHOC Children’s Hospital. In addition, the charity funds research and other
programs through its partnership with the Pediatric Cancer Research
Foundation, and supports cutting-edge clinical trials at City of Hope
