Aliso Viejo and Ring invite homeowners to Launch Event

Date:

The City of Aliso Viejo is partnering with Ring to provide discounts for Aliso Viejo homeowners interested in purchasing select home security devices. Funded by the City and Ring, the $50,000 program will allow 500 verified Aliso Viejo homeowners to receive a $100 promotional discount code toward select Ring security devices.

This special rebate program kicks off with a launch event on Thursday, February 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the future Chipotle at 26661 Aliso Creek Road in Aliso Viejo Town Center where homeowners can register in-person to participate in the program on a first-come, first served basis.

Designed to increase home security for Aliso Viejo homeowners, the rebate program will incentivize the purchase of Ring security devices that connect to a user’s mobile device via the free Ring app (iOS/Android). These devices help protect your home and let you watch over what’s important from your phone with video doorbells, indoor and outdoor security cameras, alarm systems and more.

During the February 21 launch event, eligible homeowners can register for the rebate program (with a valid ID and utility bill); learn more about Ring security devices; ask questions, and purchase products onsite via credit card. Homeowners will also learn how to join their digital neighborhood watch to receive real-time crime and safety updates with the free Neighbors app (available on iOS and Android at https://neighbors.ring.com).

Discounts will be provided by Ring to confirmed Aliso Viejo homeowners and applied during checkout toward the in-person purchase of devices at the event. (* Only credit card purchases will be accepted, no cash or checks.)

Aliso Viejo homeowners will have the chance to purchase the following devices with $100 off the retail price:

• Video Doorbell 2
• Video Doorbell Pro
• Spotlight Cam Solar
• Spotlight Cam Battery
• Spotlight Cam Wired
• Floodlight Cam
• Ring Alarm Security Kit (5-Piece)
• Ring is also offering $30 off additional security devices with a maximum of two per
household and 20% off accessories. Visit ring.com for product descriptions and specifications.
• Promotional codes are limited to one per eligible household and cannot be reused or
applied toward previously purchased Ring products.
• Aliso Viejo homeowners will also need to pay an additional subscription fee if they want
to save device footage or sign-up for the alarm-monitoring service. For more information, visit
Ring.com/products.

If the promotion does not sell out during the February 21 kick-off event, an application will be
available at cityofalisoviejo.com allowing other eligible residents to participate.
