Lantern Festival, Tuesday Night Dance Series and ¡Damas! Celebrating Women Creators

There’s much to take in throughout the month of March on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza with a diverse blend of FREE performances and events.

Bring the whole family to celebrate the Year of the Pig with the Lantern Festival (March 2) or find your own rhythm with Tuesday Night Dance when all ages and skill levels can learn a new dance style with free classes every week through July (beginning March 5). Later, the Center commemorates International Women’s Month with the second ¡DAMAS! Celebrating Women Creators (March 30). This event highlights the power and diversity of Orange County’s women and the innovative ways in which they are using self-expression to better our own community.

This month also features a robust lineup of local musical talent including Plaza-favorites The Darden Sisters (March 6), Hummingbird Hotel (March 15 & 22) and the Jill Sargeant Quartet (March 23), along with the Argyros Stage debuts of Joseph Soul(March 8 & 16), The 131ers and The New Hippies (March 9) and Mike Wilson (March 13).
