42ND Street tells the timeless, inspiring tale of small Allentown, PA, Peggy Sawyer’s (Jane Papageorge) rise from chorus girl to Broadway star.
With a LIVE BAND, dozens of tap dancers and a great set, this is a MUST SEE production. 42ND STREET includes these classic songs: “We’re in the Money”, I Only Have Eyes for You”, “Lullaby of Broadway”, “Shuffle Off to Buffalo”, and many more memorable songs.

The SOCSA Academy
Our Academy, founded in 1996, a performing and visual arts Academy within Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, California, celebrates its second decade of operation this year, 12 years of high school students studying in the arts with many going on to universities, conservatories, continuing with their craft or utilizing their own individual art talents and studying in another field. We are proud of and grateful for our graduates. As the Artistic Director, Faculty, Benefactors, and Foundation Board, we are happy to support them. We welcome you to explore our site, and utilize it for information and communication with us. SOCSA’s Mission
The South Orange County School of the Arts (SOCSA) at Dana Hills High School is a visual and performing arts public high school Academy within Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, California. It provides an in-depth educational opportunity to talented young artists affording them the chance to explore and develop their artistic talents and prepare them for placement in the college or university and employment in the professional arts industry of their choice.
The SOCSA Foundation was founded in 2000 to support the SOCSA Academy in fundraising and volunteer endeavors. The mission of the Foundation is to support the SOCSA Academy’s educational and artistic mission, goals, and financial needs through fundraising and related operational activities. The Foundation operates through the SOCSA Academy and Foundation Offices located at Dana Hills High School, 33333 Street of the Golden Lantern, Dana Point, California 92629.
SOCSA In The Community
The SOCSA academy aggressively seeks to maintain close relations with arts groups, community and civic organizations, and other arts education programs in the South Orange County area. Frequent appearances are made by our performers and artists at functions and celebrations throughout the region, and many community groups attend our performances and plays at the Porthole Theatre on the Dana Hills High School campus.
Collaborative efforts with other arts schools, professional theatre companies, art museums, and the like are constantly sought by our students and staff. This involvement is a great help in the development of our students’ abilities, and a benefit to the cultural life in our community as well. We welcome all inquiries from other arts groups or individuals who wish to participate with us in the pursuit of excellence in arts education.
