Casa Romantica announces new summer sunset music series ‘Casa Vibes’

Series pilots in summer 2019 with award-winning San Diego indie band TROUBLE IN THE WIND

 

 Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, a premier nonprofit southern California cultural center, is proud to announce its NEW summer music series, Casa Vibes.

The series will be held at sunset on Casa Romantica’s Ocean Terrace, with a flat cover charge of $12. It’s aimed at attracting a crowd to Casa Romantica who seeks cutting-edge music, complementing the cultural institution’s existing Casa Cool concert series with established contemporary genres.

 

At Casa Vibes, expect to hear the best up-and-coming indie music from California and beyond. Instead of traditional seating, tickets are standing room only — making it easy to dance on the expansive Ocean Terrace, or head to the bar for a craft beer or a glass of rosé.

Trouble in the Wind
August 8, 2019 @ 7 PM • $12

Indie-rock band Trouble In The Wind is San Diego Music Awards’ 2018 Artist of the Year, combining instruments as diverse as accordions, banjos and jazz drums to create surf-tinged, folk-and-country-flecked rock-and-roll. The band’s organic sound incorporates accordion, upright bass, brushes, banjo, and guitars.
