The community can donate to support CHOC Children’s at any of SDCCU’s five convenient OC Branch locations
San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of California’s largest credit unions, is supporting CHOC Children’s Hospital as a sponsor of the CHOC Walk in the Park at Disneyland®. SDCCU’s support includes a fundraising campaign at all five SDCCU Orange County branch locations.
SDCCU will collect donations for CHOC Children’s by selling special paper sailboats at SDCCU branches through August 11, 2019. Donations will be made to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). CMN is a non-profit international organization that helps to treat millions of children across the U.S. and Canada. Locally, proceeds benefit CHOC Children’s Hospital and CO-OP Financial services will provide matching funds pursuant to the Miracle Match program up to $10,000.
CHOC Children’s CHOC Walk in the Park at Disneyland is on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at 6 a.m. The CHOC Walk in the Park at Disneyland is a 5K walk that starts before the park opens to the public on Main Street in Disneyland and then loops around through Disney California Adventure Park. Started in 2002, the CHOC Walk attracts about 15,000 walkers each year and has raised over $35 million for CHOC Children’s and CHOC at Mission Hospital.
