Olympica Gymnastics Academy Level 4 team competed at the “Walk the Plank” Invitational this past weekend in Temecula, taking many podium finishes.
Eight-year-old Teagan Blandford of San Clemente tied for silver on bars scoring an impressive 9.500.
Sasha PourTeimour of Mission Viejo earned the gold on vault (9.075), tied for silver on bars (9.400), and tied for bronze on floor (9.400) in the nine-year-old division.
In the ten-year-old division, Adison Rusin of Laguna Niguel was the vault champion with a score of 9.275. Teammate Reese Larson of Aliso Viejo took home the bronze on bars, scoring a 9.350.
The Level 4 team’s combined efforts also earned them the third place team award at this meet. The next competition for these young ladies will be in Rancho Cucamonga the weekend of October 5th and 6th.
