Olympica Gymnastics Academy’s Level 4 team competed at the Masquerade Mania Gymnastics Meet this past weekend in Rancho Cucamonga.
In the 6-8 year old division, Teagan Blandford of San Clemente took first place on vault (9.100), bars (9.500), and in the All Around with a total score of 37.200. She also took third on beam with a 9.500.
Nine-year-old Sasha PourTeimour of Mission Viejo took the gold on vault (9.500), bars (9.550), floor (9.525) and in the All Around in this division, scoring an impressive 38.075. Teammates Mia Gwen took the bronze on beam with a score of 9.525, and Emmy Brian took the bronze on vault (8.975) and floor (9.325).
In the ten-year-old division, Adison Rusin of Laguna Niguel earned the bronze on bars scoring a 9.475.
The team’s next competition will be at Azarian Gymnastics in Aliso Viejo on October 19.
