Waltz into 2020 with Salute to Vienna New Year’s Concert at Segerstrom Center for the Arts on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. This dazzling performance evokes a golden age of Viennese music, brimming with energy, merriment and romance. It is a glorious re-creation of the beloved Neujahrskonzert, the concert that has welcomed the New Year for more than 80 years in Vienna and all over the world.
Join conductor Balázs Bánfi and The Strauss Symphony of America, who will perform with Viennese soprano Patricia Nessy and tenor David Danholt, as well as members of the Europaballett St.Pölten and International Champion Ballroom Dancers. Audiences young and old will be carried away by the first notes of the eternal Blue Danube Waltz.
