BOOK FAIR OPENS MONDAY, MAY 24
The Book Fair returns to CVES on Monday, May 24. The fair will be held in room D8. Activities have been planned through out the week for the students and families.
All you can read Book-nic – Tuesday, May 25 at your child’s lunch time.
Loved ones are invited to pack a lunch and picnic in the CVES courtyard. Bring a book to share during lunch. This is a wonderful opportunity for family members to spend a little time at school and buy a book!
Family Dinner Event – Thursday, May 27 5:00-7:00
Open House (5:30-6:30), Science Fest and the Book Fair Diner cordially invite you to a fun-filled family extravaganza! We have it all; classrooms filled with wonderful projects and decorations, stunning science experiments presented in the library and the Book Fair Diner in room D8 will be filled with great books to buy for your summer reading. But wait . . . that’s not all – the Outdoor Science Camp Committee has a big treat for you; Ruby’s diner and the Screamin’ Ice Cream Truck will be at Crown Valley selling tasty hot dog and hamburger meals, ice cream floats and other creamy treats.
Don’t forget to donate to the One for the Books Program
For every $1 donated, Scholastic will donate a book to underprivileged children and then the total money raised will be given back to Crown Valley Elementary! Also, by donating, you have a chance to win one of the many raffle items.
