EARLY OUT THURSDAY:
Tomorrow is “Early Out Thursday” and the beginning of a long holiday weekend! Remember, school is dismissed at 12:50 for grades 1-5.
HOLIDAY WEEKEND:
Enjoy a long Memorial Day Weekend! There is NO SCHOOL on the following days:
Friday, May 28
Monday, May 31 – Memorial Day
Tuesday, June 1
School resumes on Wednesday, June 2nd, regular schedule
OPEN HOUSE:
Our teachers are excited to wrap up their year with our annual “Open House” on Thursday, June 3rd from 6-7 p.m. We will be on a “minimum day” schedule. Dismissal times are as follows:
Early Bird Kindergartners: 7:45–10:58
Late Bird Kindergartners: 9:07–12:20
Grades 1-5: Dismissal at 11:50
GALAXY TICKETS STILL ON SALE!:
If you’re still looking for something fun to do with the family on Saturday, June 5th, tickets are still available for the LA Galaxy Soccer game at the Home Depot Center in Carson. You can order them on-line at www.lagalaxy/cves until June 4 and pick them up at “Will Call.” Proceeds from tickets purchased support our new computer lab! So far, we have raised more than $700! Also, if you would like to make a straight donation for the computer lab, you can make your check payable to Canyon Vista PTA and write “Computer Lab Donation” in the memo section of your check!
Please check your child’s backpack after school today! Tickets to the Galaxy game went home. Included with the tickets are wristbands and waivers for each child to participate in the parade around the field!
