Even in these trying times, The Mission Viejo/Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge #2444 still made Christmas a joyful time for children in need. They called out to all their members to drop off new, unwrapped toys to the Lodge so they could be donated to the Orange County Rescue Mission.
The Orange County Rescue Mission lives by its mission statement of “Our Mission is to minister the love of Jesus Christ to the Least, the Last and the Lost”. For every dollar given to the Mission, 83 cents goes directly to help the homeless.
The Members of Mission Viejo/Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge answered the need by donating over 10 boxes of toys for all ages, including a bicycle and 2 hover crafts for the older children that the Mission helps support.
The toys were delivered to The Orange County Rescue Mission on December 17th and the Elks would especially like to thank their “Santa’s Helpers” Lynette Holmes and Sandie McClure for their help in collecting and delivering the gifts, and Debby Lamb for organizing this much-appreciated donation drive.

Mission Viejo/Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge #2444 celebrates 50 years of service to Saddleback Valley Communities.
