SOUTH COUNTY OUTREACH NEEDS SUPPORT FROM THE CVES COMMUNITY
The South County Outreach is running dangerously low on food items has requested help from the Crown Valley community. The financial crisis within Orange County has caused record numbers of families to request food from this worthwhile organization; at the same time donations are at all time lows.
Hence, the Crown Valley PTA, along with Crown Valley Cares, has set aside June 14-18 for a Food Drive. Any non-perishable food item is needed, but especially: canned meat, tuna, fruit & vegetables, peanut butter, cold cereal and macaroni & cheese. Collection bins will be available next week in front of the school and we will also be collecting at the Sock Hop on Friday, June 18.
