Date:

by Jamie Jasso

Mission Viejo-Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge #2444 hosted a Wine Tasting fundraiser for California-Hawaii Elks Association First Vice President Brad Smith and his lady Agnes on Saturday afternoon. The wine event included a silent auction with donations from most of the Orange Coast District lodges that will benefit Brad and Agnes next year when he is President of the CHEA association. All attendees enjoyed wine tasting from over 20 wineries along with delicious pairings prepared by volunteer chefs, Joe Connell and Kevin Lindley.

The California-Hawaii Elks Association (CHEA) serves disabled children, veterans, and our youth in a wide range of activities. The Orange Coast District was able to raise over $3500 for the charitable cause. The event was chaired by OC District Drug Awareness Chairwoman PER Jamie Jasso.
