The City is still accepting applications for its Fifth Annual Citizens’ Leadership Academy. This six-week leadership academy, which holds about 20 participants, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays from September 23 through October 28.
The City offers the academy as a vehicle for residents and business owners to learn about the City’s municipal operations and services. The class aims to improve awareness and understanding of the community. Sessions will cover an array of topics including government; police and emergency services; building and engineering; community services; administrative services; planning; public works and more.
