Aliso Viejo Founder’s Day Fair is Saturday, September 25

Date:

Aliso Viejo is gearing up for its September 25 Founder’s Day Fair, a fun-filled event that transforms the 7-acre Aliso Viejo Ranch back to its California ranching roots with an old barn, bunkhouse and lots of history.

The city’s 5th annual fair, which takes place from noon to 6:00 p.m., promises to be the biggest yet with more entertainment, rides, activities, attractions and history catering to people of all ages.

Visitors to the fair, which celebrates Aliso Viejo’s heritage, will enjoy a day at the ranch with live entertainment, a water balloon launch and dunk tank; giant slide; climbing wall; games; demonstrations; gold panning; blacksmith; rope making; pony rides; and much more. Admission is free.

Along with headline musicians Open Wide, fair patrons will enjoy a cornucopia of entertainment including cloggers, a local school drumline, martial arts demonstration, classical ballet academy, world-renowned puppet show and more.

Delectable food will be available for nominal fees, and adults can enjoy the beer and wine saloon.

The Aliso Viejo Ranch is located at 100 Park Avenue across the street from the Aliso Viejo Middle School.

Coolers, outside food/drinks and pets are prohibited.

For more information, visit the city’s website at www.cityofalisoviejo.com or call 949-425-2537.
