NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Laguna Niguel, will hold a
public hearing on Amendment 1 to Use Permit UP 01-17P (Verizon).
DATE OF HEARING: October 12, 2010
TIME OF HEARING: 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible
LOCATION OF HEARING: City Council Chambers, City of Laguna Niguel

PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located at 29828 Golden Lantern, generally east of the
intersection of Golden Lantern and Hidden Hills Road, within the Public Institutional (PI) District of the
Laguna Niguel Zoning Code.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project applicant, Verizon, representing the property owner, Moulton
Niguel Water District, proposes to modify an existing unmanned wireless telecommunications facility to
include three additional panel antennas for a total of six antennas. The proposed antennas would be
mounted to the water tank. No new equipment cabinets are proposed as part of this request.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The project has been deemed Categorically Exempt under Class 3,
15303 of the California Environmental Quality Act. Class 3 Exemptions consists of the construction and
location of new limited numbers of small facilities or structures, and the installation of small new
equipment and facilities in small structures.
INVITATION TO BE HEARD: All interested persons are invited to the public hearing to be heard in
favor of or in opposition to the proposed project or to provide comments. In addition, written comments
may be submitted to the Community Development Department prior to the hearing. If you challenge the
action taken on this proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else
raised at the public hearing described in this Notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of
Laguna Niguel prior to or at the public hearing.

Development Department of the City of Laguna Niguel, 27781 La Paz Road, Laguna Niguel, California
