Reflections
Parents, have you picked up the entry form for your student? Art contest entries are due on Oct. 20th in the Front Office.
Contest Details: Have your child “reflect” on the theme “Together We Can” and create an original piece of art based on this theme.
Types of Entries: Photography, Visual Arts, Film, Music Composition, Dance & Literature
Students of all grade levels can participate by submitting entries and the winners will be announced later in the school year. All entries must be created and executed entirely by the student. One entry per category.

PTA Membership
Have you signed up for the PTA? The PTA provides support and advocacy for your children and to the school to make sure that their educational experience is the best possible. It is important for you to show your support by joining the Carl Hankey PTA. If you have not joined and would like to, you can pick up a membership form in the front office.
Fall Fundraiser Update
We would like to thank “EVERY” family who participated in our fundraiser this year. If you still have not yet turned in your money, please turn it in as soon as possible. Again thank you so much to all the families who supported the fundraiser!! 🙂
Walk To School
International Walk to School Day is on Wednesday, October 6th this year. Join millions of adults and children around the world to raise awareness of pedestrian safety issues by walking to school TOGETHER on October 6th. Walking to school is a win – win!!! It’s great for your health, and provides positive time to share with family and friends.
Primary Music Update
Its official! We raised enough money for our K-3rd graders to enjoy another great year of music education !
The children are already singing away!!! A BIG THANK YOU to all the families who supported and donated money!!
