City Reduces Temporary Use Permit Fees and Expands Promotional Opportunity Outreach to Business Community
In an effort to assist the business community with promotional and marketing efforts, the City Council voted unanimously on Tuesday night to cut fees in half for a Temporary Use Permit for sidewalk sales, center-wide events and grand opening celebrations. Effectively immediately, the fee will be reduced from $190 to $95 for six months.
The Council also gave the go ahead for staff to move forward with stronger outreach efforts to encourage businesses to take advantage of existing promotional opportunities. Staff will begin work on the development of a brochure and additional materials identifying existing promotional opportunities for businesses.
