Aliso Parents,
Good morning, I wanted to pass on some information that was recently brought to me from one of our parents who had his boys go through a special cardiac screening process. He told me that the test was non-invasive and didn’t require a lot of time for the peace of mind you received afterward.
As you all know each student who participates in athletics is required to have a physical screening prior to trying out. However, while the screening is a first check point and does meet the CIF requirements for athletics a lot of parents are now going one step further by having their child go through a cardiac screening in order to catch any issues that may not have turned up during the regular physical exam.
Listed below is a web link to more information about the screenings and how to set up an appointment. The next two dates, Oct. 23rd and Nov. 6th will be held in Laguna Beach and are the last two locally that I’ve been made aware of. Please remember you will need to make an appointment and the company who operates the service will charge an $85 tax deductible fee for this service.
Last 2 OC Cardiac Screenings scheduled for Oct. 23rd & Nov. 6th in Laguna Beach.
