Crown Valley will be holding Parent/Teacher conferences the week of November 1-4. The students will be dismissed on a modified schedule. Please note Monday, November 1 is non-student day (student holiday), but Friday, November 5 is a regular dismissal.

ABILITY AWARENESS DAY
Crown Valley students were given the opportunity to stretch their senses and walk in someone else’s shoes. Students tried their hand at completing a multitude of activities while demonstrating a certain disability. The aim of Ability Awareness Day was to show everyone has strengths and abilities, and to achieve tolerance for those of us that may have a disability. Thank you to Ms. Addison and her committee for their hard work. CVES had many visitors viewing throughout the day the program and they were all very impressed!
OUTDOOR SCIENCE CAMP
5th Grade Science Camp is selling Donna B’s frozen cookie dough at $16 a tub and family portraits at $40 or $100 a session.
Donna B’s cookie dough comes in 11 delicious flavors. Orders are due by Nov 2 so download this form and turn in your order to one of your favorite 5th grade teachers! (Freet, Manganiello or Stratford) Hurry…Time is running out!
Local photographer, Mark Montgomery [www.markmontgomeryphotography.com] will be at Crown Valley Elementary on from Fri. Nov 5 through Sunday, Nov 7 taking family portraits to benefit Science Camp. The costs is $40. and includes a complimentary 5 X 7. Photographs can be taken in black and white or color. They will arrive in plenty of time for your holiday cards. Space is limited so act fast! Download the attached form and turn it into one of your favorite 5th grade teachers or email your interest to sciencecamp2011.com and someone will get back to you to schedule your session. [There are also 12 $100 beach sessions available for purchase on a first come first serve basis. These photos will be taken on November 14 at Aliso Creek Beach and come with a complimentary 8 X10].
