THANKSGIVING BREAK: (School Closed) Monday, November 22 – Friday, November 26

VISITORS ON CAMPUS: Parents, please do not come onto the field and playground, especially with younger siblings, during the school day. Our insurance only covers students currently enrolled at Malcom. Any parents who are volunteering during the school day must have either a visitor sticker or CUSD Volunteer ID Badge on them at all times. This is for the protection of our students.

PHOTO OF THE MONTH CONTEST: Each month a photo will be selected to be on the website and/or in the yearbook. Right now we want digital photos from September and October events at Malcom. Please submit your entry/entries to Stephanie Lenthall at historian@malcompta.org. Indicate “photo of the month” in the subject line and include a description of each picture (including names of students/grades, event). The deadline for entries will be the 7th of each month for the previous month’s photos. Thanks for your participation!

SNOW CONES: What a hit! We sold 229 snow cones in 45 minutes last Friday!!! We will continue to sell snow cones will be sold on the following Spirit Days: 11/19,12/17,1/21, and 3/11. The flavor for 11/19 will be “Mariner Blue” with real fruit juice included!

KIDS RUN THE OC: The Malcom Milers will once more take to the road to run! Each year, we have had many returning runners who can testify that this great ten week training program and culminating race is a lot of fun! Registration flyers will be coming out in December. Training will begin in February, with the race date set for April 30th. Students will meet for an hour twice a week after school to train for the race.

SOCSA PRESENTS: BROADWAY NIGHT: November 4TH & 5TH 7:00 P.M. in the Porthole Theater at Dana Hills High School. Join us for a night of song and dance as the students of SOCSA perform classic and current Broadway tunes. Tickets on sale at www.socsarts.org or at the door.
$12 for Adults/Senior Citizens and $10 for Students
