NETWORKING TIP OF THE MONTH
Approachability is key! While at a networking event you never know who’s waiting to come speak with you. It’s extremely important to convey positive and approachable body language. This means smiling, making eye contact, not crossing your arms and, above all, staying off your BlackBerry or iPhone! You might be surprised at what people can pick up on. Be approachable and you’ll never have to worry about scaring off your next potential business partner.
