HAPPY THANKSGIVING: We hope that everyone will have good times with family and friends next week. We all have so much to be thankful for! Here is some First Thanksgiving trivia for your dinner conversation:
• People ate with knives, a few spoons, but no forks.
• There were about 140 people at the First Thanksgiving; 90 of whom were Indians.
• The First Thanksgiving was actually a three day feast.
• The First Thanksgiving actually took place in September or early October.
• There was no popcorn at the First Thanksgiving; they ate “parched corn”, a tough, half-popped corn kernel.
