Crown Valley Elementary School – HOLIDAY PARADE this Saturday!

Date:

HOLIDAY PARADE this Saturday!
Join CVES and walk in the parade this Saturday, December 11/further information on the CVES website.

SECRET SANTA/HELP CVES NEEDY CHILDREN
Last year, Crown Valley Elementary started the tradition of helping our struggling families during the holiday season. The community stepped up and donated gift cards to toy stores, grocery stores, movie theaters, and ice cream shops, along with countless other goodies. All donations were given directly to the most needy of the Crown Valley students. Santa, himself, made the long trek from the North Pole during his busiest time of the year to deliver the presents with the aid of our local fire fighters.

CVES will be carrying on this tradition once again. Donated items need to be delivered to the Crown Valley office by Monday, December 13. Please download a flyer from the CVES website. Questions can be directed to Sondra Hepburn at sdhepburn@gmail.com or Pat Brandt in the CVES office.

Please help the Crown Valley spirit shine on these families during the holiday season. All donations go directly to CVES children.

HOLIDAY SHOPPE
The Crown Valley PTA will be hosting the annual Holiday Shoppe during the week of December 13-17. The Holiday Shoppe will be held in room A3 this year.

TOYS FOR TOTS
In the spirit of the holiday season, Crown Valley Cares will be accepting donations for the Toys For Tots Program. Just bring a new, unwrapped gift and place it in one the bins located outside the CVES office during the week of December 6-10. A reminder flyer will be sent home soon. Further information will be posted on the CVES website, under the CROWN VALLEY NEWS tab.

FIFTH GRADE MUSIC PERFORMANCE
The 5th Grade Music students are getting ready for their first performance of the year. They will be presenting a short assembly concert on Monday, Dec. 13th, 10:25-11:05am. Please be aware that parking can sometimes be difficult for school functions, so plan ahead. We look forward to seeing you there for some holiday cheer!
