DJAES PTA will be hosting a Food Drive for South County Outreach the week of December 13th. Barrels will be placed in front of the school to collect donations. The items most needed are: Pasta, Mac&Cheese, Rice, PB&J, Beef Stew, Chili, Beans, Hot/Cold Cereal, Canned Fruit/Veggies, Soups, Tomato Sauce, Spaghetti Sauce, Ravioli, Canned Tuna, Canned Tomatoes, Baked Beans, Crackers, Pork & Beans.
BMX Bike Show Friday December 17th 1:00pm
Congratulations DJAES students! As a reward for hitting our Fall Fundraising goal of raising $20,000, the BMX Bike Show will be performing on campus Friday December 17th at 1:00pm. Parents are more than welcome to come and watch this amazing show too. Please remember to park on the street, and sign in at the office.
CUSD Superintendent – Back to the Classroom Tour
(This is a great opportunity to hear about the vision of our superintendent, and the direction of our school district.)
Superintendent Dr. Joe Farley will be at Aliso Niguel High School for an open community meeting Thursday, January 13th at 7:00pm. Dr. Farley is hosting a “Back to the Classroom” Tour, stopping at each high school within CUSD to emphasize the district’s focus on classroom instruction. This is his fourth stop within the series. Remaining dates scheduled are: Jan 25th @ Tesoro HS, or Feb 2nd @ Dana Hills HS.
