WINTER BREAK
All CUSD campuses and district offices will be closed Monday, December 20 through Friday, December 31 for the winter break. School resumes Monday, January 3.
SCREAMIN’ DAILY DEALS
Crown Valley is now earning proceeds from the program Screamin’ Daily Deals. This program offers discounts or deals daily from businesses in our community to anyone who is interested in becoming a subscriber through their website. Screamin’ Daily Deals donates 5-10% from each deal purchased to Crown Valley. To become a subscriber go to www.screamindailydeals.com and choose Crown Valley Elementary to receive the proceeds. CVES is in a competition to subscribe new members; currently we are 3rd out of 12 schools.Your family can try Screamin’ Deals on a trail basis. There is no cost to subscribe to the program.

HONOR CHOIR
The Capistrano Unified School District 2011 5th Grade Honor Choir auditions will begin the first week of January. All current 5th grade choir members are eligible. Tryouts will be held during music time or at recess when possible. Six Wednesday evening rehearsals will be required from January 26 through March 2 at 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. at Bergeson School in Laguna Niguel. The Honor Choir Concert will follow at Coast Hills Church on Thursday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m. Parent permission slips are required for audition.
