Dear Parents,
I hope this message finds our DJAMS families in good spirits. Our students, led by our PAL class, have done a tremendous job this holiday season supporting our community and those who are less fortunate.

In November/December our school collected 2,897 items of food for families in need. Approximately 1,200 instant drink packets alone were collected for our troops over in Afghanistan. In December, we teamed up with the United States Marine Corps for our Annual Toys for Tots Drive. We have filled 12 boxes of toys! Thank you to everyone who participated in all of these efforts. Great job PAL and Ms. Berndt!
