Street repair work on Autumnglen, Summerfield, Springdale, Enterprise and Aliso Viejo Parkway is expected to begin Jan. 10 as part of a city effort to improve the condition and life of the streets. The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete, but the schedule depends on the weather and the city will keep the community notified of any significant changes.
The work includes repairing damaged pavement, replacing traffic detector loops and pavement striping and more. The repairs must be done before the city’s annual slurry seal project that is scheduled to take place between April and June.
Lane closures will be required to complete the work, but all streets will remain open. Access to properties within the work zones could be temporarily restricted so alternative routes or entrances are recommended.
Parking along Autumnglen, Summerfield and Springdale will be restricted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the course of the project. Any vehicles not relocated before 7 a.m. could be ticketed or towed. “No Parking” signs will be posted before the project starts indicating the dates they will be in effect.
For more information regarding this project, contact the Aliso Viejo Public Works Department at 949-425-2530 or pworks@cityofalisoviejo.com.
