Green City Initiative Workshop March 3 – City of Aliso Viejo

Date:

Make plans to take part in the third of several workshops designed to provide the city with a framework for reducing Aliso Viejo’s carbon footprint.

The public workshop regarding the “Aliso Viejo Green City Initiative” will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. March 3 in Council Chambers at City Hall, 12 Journey.

The Aliso Viejo Green City Initiative will determine greenhouse gas emissions for existing municipal, residential and non-residential sectors in the City; will set reduction targets; will develop goals, policies and measures to decrease greenhouse gas emissions within the City; and will formulate strategies for adapting to climate change.

The third workshop will focus on vehicle management transportation.

The public’s involvement in the Aliso Viejo Green City Initiative is essential to making Aliso Viejo “greener” and benefiting the community as a whole.

For more information about the meeting, call 949-949-425-2527. Information about the initiative is also available on the City’s website at www.cityofalisoviejo.com.
