To mark the grand re-opening of the Iglesia Park Community Center, the city will host a ribbon cutting and Health, Fitness and Safety Fair on Saturday, April 30 at 24671 Via Iglesia.
The city recently finished construction on a much-needed improvement project at the Iglesia Park Community Center, which houses the Family Resource Center and Aliso Viejo Boys & Girls Club. The building improvements were funded by a Community Development Block Grant.
The public is invited to celebrate the center’s re-opening from noon to 3 p.m. in a special event that will include a bike rodeo for kids; interactive activities focused on sporting events, clinics and nutritional tips; a healthy cooking demonstration; water safety information; blood pressure screening; fitness activities; and much more. The event is sponsored by the city, Aliso Viejo Boys & Girls Club and Aliso Viejo Police Services.
