Leon Redbone
The Professional Guest Artist Series at Saddleback College is pleased to present Leon Redbone on Saturday, April 30th at 7:30 pm in the McKinney Theatre. Join this Panama hated, sunglass-wearing performer for an intriguing evening of musical eclecticism. His song repertoire includes everything from Sweet Lorraine, Moonlight Bay and Sweet Sue to Diddy Wa Diddy and Love Sick Blues. “Redbone’s own low-slung, bluesy baritone recalls an older, simpler world of music…everything from Tin Pan Alley tunes to obscure blues songs to jazz-flavored material from the Roaring ‘20’s.” – Chicago Sun/Times
