Jazz Lab Concert
with Guest Artist Benn Clatworthy
Mission Viejo, CA – Join the Saddleback Jazz Lab as they welcome Guest Artist Benn Clatworthy on Monday, May 2nd at 7:00 pm in the McKinney Theatre. Born in England in 1955, saxophonist Benn Clatworthy has been a fixture in Los Angeles area clubs since 1980.

He debuted on record in 1990, with his Discovery release Thanks Horace (which also features pianist Cecilia Coleman) and, in 1995, released While My Lady Sleeps on his own label (featuring Cedar Walton as a guest).
What the critics say: “Sublime…” –Jazz Times; “A master player” – L.A. Weekly; “A truly majestic sound” – LA City Beat; “Impressive!” – All About Jazz; “He’s a player who’s found his own voice” – Cadence, “Gladiator of the sax” – Manchester Evening News.
Tickets are $10 general; $7 student/seniors. Call the ticket office at 949-582-4656 to order your tickets or online at www.saddleback.edu/arts.
