The Mission Viejo-Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge #2444 located in Mission Viejo, is excited to welcome these new members. Summer months are normally slow months since many are on vacation and out of town, but the Elks are proud to continue a rise in applications and membership. The good news and good fun the Elks are having is getting around!
Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, meet the needs of today’s veterans, and improve the quality of life in so many ways while having fun doing it.
All initiates participate in a program that has been in use since the Elks were founded, a ritual that highlights Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity as their four cardinal virtues, often referred to as the “pillars of Elkdom”. These principles guide their charitable activities and community service initiatives.
The Mission Viejo-Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge #2444 is celebrating over 52 years of service to Saddleback Valley Communities. It is one of 8 lodges in the Orange Coast District of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) whose headquarters is in Chicago, Illinois. The BPOE is a charitable organization with a 157-year history of giving. For information regarding Elks programs or Elks membership, call 949 830-3557
