Laguna Beach Live! closes the popular Jazz Wednesdays Summer series on Wednesday, September 7, 6 to 8 pm, at the Hotel Laguna with Luther Hughes and the Cannonball/Coltrane Project.
The concert is in the beautiful outdoor Rose Garden of the Hotel Laguna, 425 So. Coast Hwy., Laguna Beach. Cover charge is $10 and an outstanding selection of food and beverages is available for purchase. A light jacket is suggested at sun down.

Leader in his own right and former bassist to the late Gene Harris, Luther Hughes has played bass with some of the biggest names in jazz in a career spanning over 30 years. Joined by Kevin Garren, tenor sax, Bruce Babad, tenor sax, Ed Czach, piano, and Paul Kriebich, drums, the group will play great jazz inspired by the music of Cannonball and Coltrane as well as new arrangements of some classic jazz standards.
