Soka Performing Arts Center to Hold Usher Orientation October 8th
Soka University will hold an orientation session for volunteer ushers at its new 1,000 seat state-of-the-art Soka Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 8th at 11 am.
Volunteers will be able to meet new people, have fun, share the arts…and see wonderful performances! Community Service credit available for high school students.
Volunteers should be:
~At least 15 years old, friendly and outgoing
~Able to work 3 to 4 hour shifts several times a month
~Willing to stay active as a Center volunteer for at least one year.
Interested volunteers should complete the online Volunteer Interest Form located at www.performingarts.soka.edu/volunteer or email their name, address and telephone number to volunteer@soka.edu.
Essential information about the concert hall and volunteer schedules will be presented at the Oct. 8th meeting, along with introductions from the David Palmer, the Center’s General Manager, and Lee Davis, Patron Services Manager.
Soka University is a private, four-year liberal arts college and graduate school located on 103-acres overlooking a wilderness park in Aliso Viejo, CA.
