Ocean Institute to Present 4th Annual Surfscience Teen Conference
DANA POINT, CA, October 2011 – The Ocean Institute and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego will present the 4th Annual Surfscience Teen Conference on Saturday, November 5, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Conference is for 8th to 12th grade students with an interest in surf and ocean science. Teens will have the opportunity to:
- Meet researchers at Scripps,
- Use oceanographic equipment to assist with surf zone experiments,
- Learn about career paths in oceanography.
