“The Grinch” and “Max the Dog” Present Actor, Writer, Producer, Philanthropist Fran Drescher with the “Who-Manitarian Award” as Universal Studios Hollywood Rings in 18 Snow-Filled Days of “Grinchmas” With Tons of Real Snow, Celebrity Tree Lightings and Who-liday Cheer
WHO: Fran Drescher, multiple Golden Globe and Emmy award nominee, actress, writer, producer, author, activist, philanthropist, and founder / president of the Cancer Schmancer Movement. Ms. Drescher, star of the hit television series, “Happily Divorced,” will be joined by The Grinch and his faithful dog, Max, Who-villians, and over 100 Los Angeles elementary school students from the Inner City Educational Foundation charter school.
WHAT: The Grinch and Max the Dog will bestow cancer survivor Fran Drescher with Who-ville’s prestigious “Who-Manitarian Award” to honor her commitment to the non-profit organization she founded, the Cancer Schmancer Movement, to mark the start of Universal Studios Hollywood’s very, merry “Grinchmas” holiday celebration.
Universal Studios Hollywood rings in the jolly Who-liday season with The Grinch, his faithful dog Max, tons of fresh snow and a “Who-ville Who-bilation” at the original movie sets where the classic “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas” was filmed. “Grinchmas” will include nightly tree lighting ceremonies at the 60-ft tall whimsical curving “Grinchmas” tree and celebrity readings of the Dr. Seuss classic, How the Grinch Who Stole Christmas!” Families will enjoy meetings and fun photo ops with The Grinch and “Max the Dog.” “Grinchmas” dates: Dec. 10-11, and daily from Dec. 17 to Jan.1. “Grinchmas” is included in the price of admission.” More information is available at www.UniversalStudiosHollywood.com.
