March 29, 2012, Dana Point, CA – A free eight-week “It’s Your Estate” workshop series will be held at the Ocean Institute on successive Tuesdays, April 3 – May 29, 2-3:30 p.m. In its 10th year, the series will be moderated by Peter Kote, JD, a professional fiduciary in Laguna Hills. Kote is the 2008 recipient of the national Distinguished Financial Planner award from the Financial Planning Association.
The workshop is sponsored by charitable organizations to provide a safe, comfortable environment in which to learn how to control your money. It is purely an educational program. There will be no selling of financial products. The program’s goal is to promote self-awareness of your financial and estate plans, learn practical suggestions on how to find competent and ethical advisors and encourage tax-wise charitable giving.
